A single barrel selection of Chardonnay bottled as an add-on cuvée for Grape Friends only. There were actually four barrels from this lot, but only one made the cut for this vintage, which means less than 300 bottles are available. Flinty, mineral, yellow citrus and bruised green apples. Get fancy with some comté or dress it down with chicken nuggets.
Grapes: Chardonnay
Vinification: Direct press into French Oak (100% new). Full lees aging, racked to stainless steel two weeks before bottling with a small SO2 addition at racking.
