Taste/Feel: Deep fall days that are cool but still hold enough sunshine to still warm your face, your favorite cotton t-shirt, green apple skin, grey river rocks, long kisses that you want to last even longer
Vineyard: (The former) Omero Vineyard, Ribbon Ridge sub-AVA, Willamette Valley. Organically farmed grafts of Aligoté placed into the vineyard under the direction of Oregon visionary, Chad Stock
Fermentation: The long awaited companion piece to our 2019 Skin Contact Aligoté has finally arrived. This is the last Aligoté fruit to be pulled out of Omero Vineyard, as shortly afterwards the vineyard was sold and all experimental grafts were pulled out. This particular wine was whole cluster pressed into old neutral barrels on gross lees and never stirred or racked until bottling. Heartbreakingly limited, we are proud to present it to members of our “Grape Friends” Wine Club as a memory of the past and a vision for the future of Oregon white wine.
