The wine that will always mean the most to me. My namesake wine. My dad’s and grandfather’s, too. Neither of them ever drank wine, but I’m still pretty sure they would approve of this. They would approve because it’s emotional and exacting and of a time, but also out of time. This is Oregon Pinot Noir, as I see it, through the lens of Burgundy and Beaujolais and everything in between.

Semi-carbonic maceration in both stainless steel and concrete for around 14 days. Pressed to barrel and élevage for 11 months. Small SO2 add after malo. Bottle aged for a year before release.
